5 Artists You Need to Add to Your Music Library [April]

5 Artists You Need to Add to Your Music Library is a list to make music lovers aware of buzzing talent across the nation. This is the first installment and the list will continue in the 3rd and 4th quarter of the year; combining a total of 15 rappers and/or singers. The artists I put on this list have made music I’ve been able to listen to and enjoy. Though they have different styles, they each have a delivery, consistency, and story that an array of listeners can vibe to.

Castro: From Chicago. Latest Project: Welcome Home. Single: Me & My Money ft Broadway. I met Castro at the A3C Festival in Atlanta and from then on I got in tune with his music!

Tray Pizzy: From the BX, NYC. Latest Project: The Truman Show. New music: Chains. I came across Tray Pizzy’s music randomly on twitter about about 2 years ago. So far everything I’ve heard has been on point!

Sy Ari Da Kid. From Atlanta. Latest Project: S.O.O.N. Single: Old ft. Snootie Wild. I saw Sy Ari Da Kid performing (twice) at the A3C festival in Atlanta and his stage presence was awesome, made me a fan.

Tripz: From BX, NYC. Latest Project: No Luggage. Single: Bankrupt. Tripz is another artist whose music I just decided to check out ’cause I felt like it. Since then we’ve done an interview and I’m looking forward to seeing his career progress!

YT Triz: From Orlando. Latest Project: Tales from Crime Hill. Single: Vamanos ft. Rick Ross & Lil’ Wayne. I first came across YT Triz when he released “How Can I Lose” ft. Bobby Shmurda. A few months later I saw him perform at the A3C Fest. After that I got back to Toronto and had his mixtape in rotation!
